Presentation

Long-term follow-up for low-grade glioma. Frequent MRI scans for 8 years.

Note the hyperintense T1 signal in bilateral dentate nuclei. 

Case Discussion

Recent studies have linked an abnormal T1 shortening in the globus pallidus and the dentate nuclei in patients who had undergone repeated prior administration of gadolinium. However, it is still unclear if there is any clinical significance of this finding 1.
