Follow-up from orthopedic clinic.

Patient Data

Age: 12 years
Gender: Female
x-ray

Ill-defined expansile lesion of the mid tibial shaft without periosteal reaction. Internal ground glass matrix. 

x-ray

Expansile lesions of both the first metacarpal and proximal phalanx. Internal matrix is somewhat ground glass. No periosteal reaction. 

Case Discussion

Fibrous dysplasia can be monostotic (~75%) or polyostotic (~25%), in the latter the tibia and the foot are common locations.
