Presentation

Known patient suffering from sickle cell disease, is complaining from bilateral hip pain.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Female
x-ray

Dense heterogeneous sclerosis of both femoral heads.

Irregular surface and abnormal contour of both femoral heads. They show heterogeneous low signal on T1 and heterogeneous high signal on T2 in known patient with sickle cell disease.
