Gastric dilatation is one of the complications following sleeve gastrectomy which may necessitate surgical revision of the pouch.

Patients usually present with inadequate weight loss or recurrent weight gain.

Imaging studies reveals widening of the gastric sleeve with loss of its tubular appearance.
