MICROSCOPIC DESCRIPTION:
- Tumor consists of meningothelial cells arranged in a whorly pattern with bland looking nuclei. Few psammoma bodies seen with large areas of necrosis. Tumor cells are focally positive for PR and EMA while GFAP is negative and Ki67 is less than 4%.
DIAGNOSIS
- Meningioma, WHO grade I.
