Informed consent obtained.
Patient positioned prone.
Sterile prep and drape.
1% lignocaine local anesthetic.
Under fluoroscopic guidance via posterior approach, a 22G spinal needle was inserted into the L3/4 intervertebral space.
CSF samples obtained.
Needle removed and dressing applied.
No peri procedural complications observed.
