Supine pneumothorax (deep sulcus sign)

Intubated supine patient with left sided deep sulcus sign (pronounced lucency extending inferiorly within the left costophrenic recess) indicating a sizable pneumothorax. The left pleural edge is visible approximately 1 cm in from the inner aspect of the left lateral ribs.
