Left femoral head heterogeneous sclerotic texture with a subchondral crescentic lucent line.

Irregular shaped focal subchondral area of abnormal signal intensity is seen in the antero-superior aspect of the left femoral head appearing of heterogeneous low signal on T1 and of bright signal on STIR weighted images & adjacent similar patchy area of marrow edema is seen in left femoral head.
Case Discussion
Left femoral head avascular necrosis (stage III Ficat classification).
