  • BMD for L2-L4 is 0.96 g/cm2
  • T-score: -2.0 age-matched
  • Z-score: -1.2

Left Proximal femur

  • BMD for the total hip site is 0.84 g/cm2
  • T-score: -1.6
  • Age Matched Z-score: -0.8

Case Discussion

With a T score of -2.0 in the lumbar spine, this patient is considered osteopenic according to World Health Organization criteria. Z-score of -1.2 is low for someone of this age and gender. Fracture risk is moderate.
