Bean shaped dilated loop of large bowel with apex pointing to the RUQ. Rectal tube in situ.
Case Discussion
Findings are consistent with a sigmoid volvulus (also proven on CT). This x-ray was taken after attempt decompression, which was obviously unsuccessful.
