Presentation

Abdominal pain.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Male
  • poorly enhancing pancreatic tail mass with extension into surrounding fat and direct invasion of the adjacent small bowel loops and left adrenal gland

  • multiple hypovascular well-defined focal lesions are seen in the right lobe of the liver

Case Discussion

The combination of findings is compatible with a pancreatic tail adenocarcinoma with local invasion of small bowel loops and liver metastases.
