A well-circumscribed tubular, elongated cystic lesion with a “chicken drumstick” appearance is seen in the right iliac fossa. This lesion is lying vertically and is continuous with the terminal end of the appendix. The inferior part of the lesion is in contact with the normal right ovary. Mural curvilinear interrupted calcification, suggestive of bowel origin is seen. No surrounding fat stranding or abnormal lymph nodes are seen.
Findings are in favour of an appendicular mucocele.
