MRI of an immunocompromised post bone marrow transplant patient demonstrates multiple small peripherally enhancing nodules located predominantly in the basal ganglia,gray white matter junction as well as the central portions of the cerebellar hemispheres (in the region of the dentate nuclei). Only a small amount of surrounding edema is present.
