MRI Arthrogram

Avulsion of the humeral insertion of the inferior glenohumeral ligament with extra articular contrast leakage.

Case Discussion

Humeral avulsion of the glenohumeral ligament (HAGL) is the detachment of the articular capsule and the inferior glenohumeral ligament on the humeral side. HAGL can be anterior or posterior (PHAGL).

PHAGL may be responsible for posterior dislocation or associated with recurrent anterior dislocation.
