Multicystic encephalomalacic changes in bilateral cerebral hemispheres.
Early closure of bi-coronal sutures.
Large subacute/chronic subdural hematoma along left cerebral hemisphere (26mm in thickness)
No gross brain parenchymal calcification.
Basal ganglia and posterior fossa are spared.
Case Discussion
These findings can be seen as sequelae of perinatal insults: hypoxic ischemic injury or non-accidental injury.
