Presentation

Pulsatile neck swelling.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Male
ct

A large 4 x 4 x 5 cm saccular aneurysmal dilatation of the left carotid bulb originating from its lateral wall having significant luminal thrombosis and a wide neck.

No perilesional contrast material leakage. The lesion causes marked compression on the left internal Jugular vein.

Case Discussion

Findings are consistent with a large left carotid bulb saccular pseudoaneurysm having significant luminal thrombosis.
