Presentation

Passage of feces per vagina. Past history of ovarian carcinoma and total hysterectomy.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female
Fluoroscopy

Upon infusion of contrast into the rectum via the rectal tube, a fistula tract is demonstrated from the superior rectum to the posterior vagina, likely at the site of post-surgical vaginal stump formation. Contrast solution then passes through the vagina and out the introitus.
