Sore throat.

Segmentation anomaly of the cervical spine is present, with fusion of C2 and C3, partially fusion of C4 and C5, and partial fusion of C5 and C6. There is malalignment of the cervical spine which is most apparent on the coronal imaging, with levoscoliosis centered at C5-C6.

Case Discussion

This was an unknown diagnosis in this young patient, who was scanned for a different indication. The patient has abnormal fusion at 3 separate levels within the cervical spine with malalignment, which is most apparent on the coronal images.
