Foot trauma.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Male

Fracture through the shaft of fifth toe proximal phalanx is noted with a mildly displaced fractured fragment.

Case Discussion

Phalanx fractures often result from direct trauma to the toes. The important point in the recent case is that any suspected fracture must be checked in at least 2 views.
