Presentation

Asymptomatic patient.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male

Images obtained with a phased array transducer in the left fifth intercostal space, with the probe marker corresponding to the patient's left. Of note, the apical 4 chamber view should not include the pulmonary veins as depicted above, indicating that the transducer should have been fanned caudally.
