Large expansive lesion in the pre-vascular mediastinum, with heterogeneous impregnation by intravenous contrast, central areas of necrosis, and contacting the lower third of the right thyroid lobe, as well as, pulmonary artery trunk and brachycephalic venous trunk.
Case Discussion
After a CT-guided biopsy, the histopathological study revealed that it was a thymoma. The patient was submitted to surgical excision of the lesion and is now asymptomatic.
