Presentation

Headache and fever for a few days.

Age: 55 years
Gender: Male

A well-defined lesion is seen on the right side at quadrigeminal cistern just posterior to the tectum/midbrain with minimal mass effect, follow fat signal in all giving MRI sequences with blooming on Gradient sequence, in keeping with quadrigeminal lipoma, in addition to the bilateral mastoiditis.

A fat density lesion is seen in the quadrigeminal cistern in keeping with lipoma.

Case Discussion

Considering patient symptom, a finding of the quadrigeminal cistern lipoma is incidental, the HU on CT -100 and on MRI it follows fat intensity in all sequences.
