Significant dilatation of the esophagus with smooth distal narrowing and tapering (bird beak sign), characteristic for achalasia.
Case Discussion
Barium swallow was performed, which demonstrates significant dilatation of the esophagus with distal narrowing and tapering ends (bird's beak appearance), as well as contrast pooling and stasis with narrow stream to the stomach. These features are characteristic for esophageal achalasia.
