Malrotated kidney

Right kidney size is normal. Its upper pole is at the level of 2nd lumbar vertebra and lower pole at the level of upper border of 5th lumbar vertebra.

The right kidney is excessively rotated (hyper-rotated). The hilum faces posteriorly; renal vessels are located posteriorly. There is a little renal calculi in the medial major calyx.
