Meningioma

Presentation

Lump on head.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Female

A large bi-frontal mass is associated with marked edema in the frontal lobes and can be seen (best on the sagittal scout) to extend into and through the frontal bone. 

A prominent CSF cleft is present indicating that it is extra-axial.

The patient went on to have the mass resected, confirming that it was indeed a meningioma.
