Sacrococcygeal teratoma

The abdomen is distended. Large soft tissue mass projecting from the lower pelvis.
Case Discussion
Besides the large sacrococcygeal tumor, the abdomen is markedly distended. Etiologies of abdominal distension in a young infant include:
- Wilms tumor
- Nephroblastomatosis
- Neuroblastoma
- Other renal causes: cystic nephroma, fetal hamartoma, embryonal sarcomas, etc.
- Massive ascites
