Describe your findings
Multiple, well corticated, smooth bone fragments of varying sizes at the tibial tuberosity most in keeping with previous Osgood-Schlatter disease.
What is Sinding-Larsen-Johansson disease?
Condition of chronic fatigue injury due to repeated microtrauma, like Osgood-Schlatter disease, but affecting the patella tendon origin at the inferior patella.
The lateral image is slightly overexposed making it difficult to assess the anterior soft tissue planes clearly, however obviously apparent are multiple, well corticated, smooth bone fragments of varying sizes at the tibial tuberosity.
Sharp patellar tendon margins are also not visible at this level.
