Fairly faint serpiginous regions of sclerosis are seen in both the femur and tibia, suggestive of bone infarcts.

Selected coronal MRI images demonstrate very extensive intramedullary lesions involving the femora and tibia bilaterally consistent with bone infarcts.

This case demonstrates extensive bilateral bone infarcts in a 20-year-old with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) being treated with high dose steroids.
