Presentation

Fell off a ladder.

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

Lateral subtalar dislocation.
Lateral malleolar fracture.

Dislocation of the talocalcaneal and talonavicular joints, with posterolateral translation of the foot in relation to the talus.
Comminuted fracture of the lateral malleolus.

Fluoroscopy

Fixation of the reduced dislocation with Kirschner wires.

Follow-up study after dislocation reduction and fixation.

Fell off a ladder at work.
Underwent total body CT - no traumatic finding.
CT of the ankles and feet showed a lateral subtalar dislocation, seen on the plain radiographs, which was reduced then fixed with K-wires. Follow-up CT shows anatomical alignment of all the joints.
