Frontal chest radiograph demonstrates a fusiform left paravertebral radiopacity associated with reduction in the height of the ipsilateral half of the adjacent vertebra.

Radiographs of the thoracic spine demonstrate a more obvious destructive process involving the pedicle and half of the T10 vertebral body.

Aneurysmal bone cyst: CT scan of the thoracic spine demonstrates an expansible soft tissue mass involving half of the vertebral body and ipsilateral posterior element with a well defined partially sclerosed margin.
