Presentation

Known for nasopharyngeal carcinoma treated by chemoradiotherapy on follow-up.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Male
mri

Small extra-axial broad-based mass centered on the right anterior clinoid measuring 15 x 13 x 10 mm, isointense to the cortical grey matter on both T1 and T2 with vivid homogeneous enhancement.

No residual or recurrent nasopharyngeal mass.

No metastatic cervical lymphadenopathy.

Opacification of the mastoid air cells and the middle ear bilaterally.

Peripheral mucosal thickening mainly of the maxillary sinuses with gas-fluid level.
