An extension of normal renal cortical tissue is seen between the medullary pyramids, extending to sinus region.
Case Discussion
This is a typical case of 'septum of Bertin', which is basically a normal projection of renal cortical tissue, and may be mistaken as mass lesion (renal pseudotumor).
