ct

Isodense to hyperdense foci with sizes up to 33 mm in the right hepatic lobe segment VII and segment VI are seen which have progressive centripetal enhancement from the arterial phase through a delayed phase. Fatty change in the liver is also seen.

Case Discussion

Hemangioma of the liver is the main differential diagnosis of liver metastasis but has the characteristic centripetal enhancement pattern on triphasic MDCT and MRI of the liver and can readily differentiate the hemangioma from metastasis in most cases. The liver hemangioma can have fibrous degeneration and be similar to malignant mass lesion 2.
