Presentation

Incidental finding during ultrasound exam done for abdominal discomfort.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Female

Well-defined unilocular ovarian cysts measuring 15 mm on the right and 45 mm on the left, displaying a homogeneous low signal on T1 and high signal on T2 with no restricted diffusion or peripheral enhancement. No solid component or internal septation seen.

Normal appearance of the uterus.

Case Discussion

The patient's age (postmenopausal) and MRI features are most consistent with serous inclusion cysts.
