Abdominal aortic aneurysm

History of abdominal pain and lump.

Patient Data

Age: 60
Gender: Male

The infrarenal abdominal aorta is dilated and measures 9 x 10 cm with a large peripheral thrombus. Bilateral common iliac arteries are also aneurysmally dilated. Celiac axis, superior mesenteric arteries and renal arteries have normal origin, size and opacification. 

Case Discussion

Open repair of the AAA was performed with a vascular graft at a referral centre. Patient doing well postoperatively.
