Widened aortic root on echocardiography.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Female

The aberrant right subclavian artery arises as the last vessel from the aortic arch and crosses over to the right side, mostly between the upper esophagus and the spine. Here, it can cause difficulty of swallowing (dysphagia lusoria).
