Presentation

Minor injury, pain.

Age: 25 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

Alignment is normal. No fracture demonstrated. Incidental absence of the ulnar styloid process.

Case Discussion

Absence of the styloid process of the ulna is more often due to previous trauma with resorption of the process rather than primary failure of development. In this case, the patient denies any previous wrist trauma.
