There is caudal extension to roof of acetabulum which is disintegrated into a minimum of three parts. Non-displaced small fracture of inferior lip of acetabulum. Mild cranial migration of right femur with no femur fracture. Comminuted fracture of left femur neck, post fixation. Rest of the pelvic bones are normal.
Right L5 sacralisation.
High velocity road traffic collision resulting in significant fracture and displacement of right ilium with extension to acetabular roof.
Important to document the hip joint extension so that no hip instability ensues following repair.
