Left ankle trauma in football.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Male
mri

A complete tear of Achilles tendon is seen with thickening and retraction of its distal fibers, and fluid accumulation in the tendinal defect.  
The rest of tendinous structures in the anterior and lateral and medial aspects of the left ankle joint show normal morphology and MR signal.
