ACL avulsion-fracture

There is an avulsion-fracture of the anterior intercondylar eminence at the tibial insertion of the ACL with complete separation of the bony fragment. The ACL looks intact, however, it is better appreciated on MRI than CT.
Moderate hemarthrosis.
Case Discussion
CT features are consistent with an ACL avulsion-fracture type 3a according to Meyers and McKeevers classification.
