Acromioclavicular joint injury - Rockwood type 2

Presentation

Fell off horse and landed on elbow. Pain and disability to shoulder.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Male

AC joint space and CC distances are widened. The distal clavicle is displaced superiorly compared to the acromion. Overlying soft tissue swelling. No fracture. Glenohumeral joint is normal. 

CONCLUSION

Rockwood type 2 acromioclavicular joint injury.
