CT scan of the chest reveals multiple areas of consolidation with large right upper lobe irregular cavity formation.
Diffuse extensive bronchiolar infiltration forming a tree in bud appearance seen elsewhere in the lungs, axial and coronal MIP clarified this finding in such a nice pattern.
Case Discussion
The sputum culture was positive for tuberculous bacilli.
