Acute tonsillitis

There is thickening and edema of the pharyngeal mucosal space with enlargement of the tonsils, in keeping with acute tonsillitis.
No rim enhancing collection is identified to suggest abscess formation. Mildly enlarged left upper cervical lymph nodes are demonstrated.
Conclusion:
Findings in keeping with acute tonsillitis without abscess formation.
