Car accident.

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Female

Anterior column acute compression fractures of L4 and L5. Note the subtle cortical buckling anteriorly. Fracture of the L2 spinous process. 

MRI confirms marrow edema in association with the L4 and L5 vertebral fractures. No discoligamentous injury.
