Enlarged liver of homogenous CT texture. It has periportal tracking with halo and hypoattenuation suggesting edema. Gall bladder has marked wall thickening with contracted lumen and hyperdense inner wall. No visible calculi inside. Multiple small porta hepatis lymph nodes are seen associated with mild fat stranding.
Case Discussion
CT findings in diffuse parenchymal hepatic inflammation proved to be acute viral hepatitis.
