Diffusely mildly enlarged anteverted uterus. Diffuse thickening of the junctional zone measuring 26 mm in maximum thickness. It has multiple variable sized linear and nodular T2W hyperintense foci diffusely scattered within it, especially in the subendometerial region. Some foci appear of a high signal pattern on T1WI indicating menstrual hemorrhage within the ectopic endometrial tissue. The radiological features are matching with adenomyosis. Small cervical Nabothian cyst is noted.
Case Discussion
MRI features are impressive of diffuse uterine adenomyosis.
