The uterus appears bulky with uneven contour. The endometrial stripe appears thick and irregular. It measures 1.6 cm in its widest part. Diffuse thickening of the junctional zone is seen measuring ~ 2.25 cm in maximum thickness showing scattered multiple variable sized nodular and linear T2W hyperintense foci. They are randomly diffusely scattered within it, especially in the subendometrial region. Multiple small cervical cysts are seen representing Nabothian cysts.
Case Discussion
The radiological features are impressive of a case of diffuse uterine adenomyosis.
