Presentation

History of five years infertility.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Female

Hysterosalpingogram

Fluoroscopy

The irregularity of the uterine contour with multiple small outpouchings of the contrast material from the endometrium into the myometrium represents diffuse adenomyosis.

Free bilateral intraperitoneal spillage of contrast material into the peritoneal cavity also is seen. 

Case Discussion

The imaging findings are compatible with diffuse adenomyosis.
