CT demonstrates a small right sided adrenal mass tucked in between the IVC, kidney, liver and vertebral column. It is well circumscribed and of low density on pre-contrast imaging (6 HU). Following administration of contrast, it enhances to a maximum of 60 HU during portal venous phase, and then washes out to 27 HU on delayed imaging.
