Elevated liver function tests. Dilated common bile duct. Endoscopy as part of an endoscopic ultrasound and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography.

The Ampulla of Vater is not commonly seen on barium studies, but may appear as a small contour abnormality on the medial wall of the second part of the duodenum (red arrow).
